Abnormal Uterine Bleeding – A Clinico-pathological Study

Background:
 Abnormal Uterine Bleeding (AUB) can occur at any age in a woman`s reproductive period and needs to be assessed very carefully immediately. When it occurs the older group, more meticulous screening for malignancy is imperative so that treatment radical. Dilatation curettage simple, cost effective, safe reliable investigation gives us direct access target organ.
 Methods:
 Study was conducted prospectively on 162 patients presenting with AUB reproductive, perimenopausal postmenopausal group. All endometrial samples procured from were fixed 10% buffered formalin 12-24 hours, processed automated tissue processor, cut stained Hematoxylin & Eosin (H E) stain finally studied detail morphological findings under light microscopy.
 Result:
 In our study Secretory endometrium most common type, which followed by Proliferative endometrium. Disordered proliferative Endometrial hyperplasia commonest histopathological patterns seen of organic type. carcinoma commonly Further, Mc Cluggage criteria applied all categorize unassessable inadequate.
 Conclusion: 
 Evaluation important find out Organic Pathology. Histopathological typing crucial appropriate therapy. Its interpretation quite challenging also may show considerable interobserver variability. AUB, should taken during bleeding episode itself. organ.
